We support local – starting right from the talented and highly motivated people that we hire as our Caddies. Who better to tell you about where to go and what’s on next in your town than a local South Australian?
— EcoCaddy HR Manager, Sam Shadiac

OUR CADDY CULTURE

We expect a high standard relating to staff interaction with each other and those who use our services. Our expectations of staff can be summarised in five main principles that spell out what we stand for! These include a “Can Do Attitude”, and “Active Lifestyle”, a positively “Dapper” image (staff facilities and EcoCaddies alike!), “Dependability” and a “Young at Heart” approach to all we endeavour professionally and recreationally.

SAFETY FIRST

Our EcoCaddy’s are fully- insured, 100% road & safety compliant with Australian Pedal-Assist Standard EN15194 and the Transportation Act of SA (1994) and are fitted with approved safety belts. We've gone further to ensure the safety of our passengers and the public by making it mandatory that our riders hold a current South Australian drivers license, complete our rigorous training course and are Senior First Aid trained.

WE DON'T CONGEST, WE ACCESS

We are legally recognised as a bicycle, so we can use cycle lanes and go where most other forms of public transport can't access. That includes: The Parklands, along the River Torrens, across the Adelaide Foot-bridge, through the city squares and in pedestrian dominated zones like Peel, Leigh, Bank Street and China Town and Rundle Mall (after retail hours). This means we are not adding to the problem of congestion and can easily glide through the busy city streets at a comparable speed to most other forms of getting around, saving you valuable time.
